Netball
Netball at St James College is a thriving and highly successful program, with a strong track record.
Our senior boys have dominated the Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball QISSN competition, winning four consecutive titles, while our senior girls consistently compete in Division 1.
The program caters to all students, offering pathways for junior, intermediate, and senior teams across both boys and girls divisions.
Each year, our teams participate in a range of competitive events—primarily in Term 2— including:
- Carina Tigers Cup
- Southside and Northside Super 7s
- Queensland Catholic Cup (QC Cup)
- Vicki Wilson Regionals and Championships
- Queensland Independent Secondary Schools Netball QISSN
- National All Schools Netball Challenge.
St James also proudly supports students aiming for higher honours, with many progressing through district and Met East trials to earn selection in representative teams, including Queensland squads.
