St James College is proudly home to Brisbane’s first Liverpool Football Club International Academy LFC IA, giving young people the chance to train and play The Liverpool Way while completing their education in the heart of the city.

In partnership with LFC IA, Australia, our program delivers the same world-class coaching curriculum and philosophy that develops young players at the Club’s Academy in the UK. Students are supported by professional coaches connected with Liverpool FC staff, ensuring every session builds technical skill, game intelligence, and character – on and off the pitch.

At St James, we believe sport is more than competition – it’s about teamwork, belonging, and building futures. The Academy offers students a unique pathway, combining high-performance football training with the academic, cultural, and social opportunities of Brisbane’s only inner-city Catholic coeducational school. 

Students of the Academy will engage in Professional Development Programs and School Holiday Clinics and Community Days - The Liverpool Way.
