Year 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students Graduate at Cathedral Liturgy

St James College Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students attended St Stephen's Cathedral with staff this week to participate in the annual graduation ceremony with over 160 students from more than 50 schools from across the Archdiocese of Brisbane. 

Deputy Principal Ms Kristina Johnson shared her joy at being present at the event. 

"I had the pleasure of attending St Stephen’s Cathedral during the week to proudly watch our Year 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students graduate."

"It was a lovely liturgy with over 160 Indigenous students across Brisbane Catholic schools attending."

"Congratulations to all our Year 12 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduating students Keirana, Tashaun, Madison, Kiesha, Jorja, Andre, Keeva, Aris and Arial," said Ms Johnson.

The college's Cultural Liaison Officer (Indigenous), Ms Tara Button-Wright was also in attendance.
