Three netball teams from St James College—Junior Girls, Senior Girls, and Senior Boys—recently showcased their talent and determination at the prestigious Vicki Wilson Cup.

Senior Girls faced early challenges, dropping their first two matches. But their resilience shone through as they rallied to win all remaining games, finishing strong.

Junior Girls delivered a flawless performance, remaining undefeated throughout the day and earning a spot in the Vicki Wilson Cup Championships in August.

Senior Boys had a thrilling run, securing six wins and one draw, and clinched the Grand Final victory by just one goal—also qualifying for the August championships.

The Vicki Wilson Cup is Queensland’s premier netball competition for secondary schools, offering divisions for Years 7–12. It provides a platform for young athletes to compete at elite levels and represent their school sport region.
