Extraordinary Generosity Boosts College Endowment Bursary and Faithful Friends Funds
Substantial donations from current families, staff and alumni means the Bursary Fund achieves target of offering bursary support from 2021.
The generosity of the extended St James College community in the 2019/2020 financial year means a boost to the college Endowment Bursary Fund and the college Faithful Friends Funds.
Acknowledgement and thanks particularly goes to Mr Adrian Di Marco and his family for their most generous donation and initiative. Adrian is a graduate of St James College and has built a business in Technology.
When learning of the need to build up the bursary fund by 30 June, Adrian offered to match donations at 2 for 1. This resulted in a further cheque from Adrian for $36,000 after a large initial donation.
Words cannot express the immensity of the gratitude the college community has for Adrian and his family. This will help change lives and provide opportunities for students for the future.
Thank you the numerous donors who have so generously supported the cause so that students from diverse backgrounds can be supported at the College.
