Our Year 5 and Year 6 students experienced an unforgettable science excursion at the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha, coming face-to-face with water dragons and turtles.

Recognised as Queensland's premier subtropical botanic gardens, the visit allowed them to experience the environment as they observed a diverse range of plants and wildlife firsthand.

The opportunity to step outside the traditional classroom setting enriched the experience, providing a real-life link to their science studies through the lens of nature's classroom.

The wildlife photographs below were captured by one of our talented students.
