St James College is a Catholic Co-educational Secondary College in the Edmund Rice tradition, catering for students and families seeking a holistic school environment.
We specialise in educating students from Years 8 to 12 in quality academic (OP) and Vocational Education & Training.
Providing quality education since 1868, St James' philosophy is based on Gospel values and the tradition of Edmund Rice, the founder of The Christian Brothers.

Located in the centre of Brisbane City, St James accepts enrolments from throughout South-East Queensland. St James College has an inclusive enrolment policy and seeks to enroll, include and make welcome students from a broad spectrum of the Australian population, regardless of race, background, religion, ability, social or economic means.
The College is now taking enrolments for Year 8 in 2014 and 2015 and for Year 7 in 2015.

Opening School Mass
The Opening School Mass and 2014 Student Leaders' Commissioning will be held on Friday 7 February at St Brigid's Catholic Church, 78 Musgrave Street, Red Hill. All in the St James College Community are invited to attend the Mass which will commence at 9:30am. Parking is available in the Church grounds. Students are to come to school and will be transported to and from St Brigid's by bus.
